DocToDoor has partnered with Clínica de la Asunción of Gipuzkoa, Spain to begin pilot programs with Total Knee Replacement (TKR) patients. As a flexible solution, DocToDoor provides means to manage, care for, and engage patients in post-op, chronic care, and primary care. The pilot will provide patients with Andriod and iOS DocToDoor Patient app with Clínica de la Asunción branding and Smart Watch to engage and monitor patient recovery and wellness through the care cycle.
Patient reported outcomes (PRO) as well as clinical outcomes data will be analyzed and reported to determine the exact impact of DocToDoor on the Pilot group.
Clinicians can monitor, manage, and enagage patients using the DocToDoor Portal and Doctor Mobile app. Clinicians can easily assign CarePlan to patients based on their conditions and manage specific populations with population-centric CarePlan.
Clínica Asunción and DocToDoor will also begin research on COPD population beginning with focus on COPD quality metrics, protocols, and anticipated outcomes leading to COPD CarePlan for DocToDoor. Subsequently, a pilot will begin with COPD patients to improve quality of care and care management.
Communication is key to the quality of care, to that extent, DocToDoor and Clínica Asunción’s venture will improve the access and quality of care for patients via multi-lingual capability embedded within DocToDoor.
